The most basic & fundamental mistake that human beings make is to believe that they can simply claim ownership of land/a land/a continent – how arrogant & conceited can people be? Consequently both the Freedom Charter and the South African Constitution are fatally flawed when they state: “Believe that South Africa belongs to all who live in it...”
Perhaps our approach should rather be:”All living beings who live in South Africa or any other land or continent belong to that land or continent.”
